YAMBA was full of thunder on the weekend – and it wasn’t from the clear, sunny sky.
It was from the rumbling engines powering the host of shining, lovingly restored hot rods, muscle cars and street machines that rolled into the coastal village for the 19th annual Yamba Rod Run.
Event organiser Lew Falzon from the Borderline Street Rod Club Inc. said this year’s event had been the biggest yet.
“It was fantastic; we had the biggest crowd ever and we also ended up with 355 entrants, last year it was 319 so it’s getting bigger every year,” Mr Falzon said.
